KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is part of the national KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) network of public charter schools, focused on preparing students for success in college and life. Their mission is supported by excellent academics, safe and joyful school environments, and a culture of high expectations for both students and educators. To fulfill this mission, KIPP also relies on efficient and reliable fundraising systems to engage donors and sustain operations.

While GiveLively provided KIPP with the tools to raise funds for special campaigns and events, its reliance on Stripe for payment processing presented a significant limitation: no native integration with RENXT. As a result, the KIPP advancement and finance teams were burdened by manual data entry, fragmented gift records, and inconsistent reporting.

DNL implemented DNL Data Cloud, a custom middleware solution that connects GiveLively, Stripe, and RENXT. This integration automated the transfer of donations from GiveLively into RENXT, ensuring timely, accurate gift processing.

DNL updated and documented KIPP’s reconciliation workflows through customized Standard Operating Procedures. These SOPs aligned with the new integration and reporting structures, ensuring clarity and consistency across internal teams.

To improve data accuracy and maximize the capabilities of RENXT, DNL worked with KIPP to revise its internal structure of campaigns, appeals, and funds.
