A versatile, two-time Emmy-Award winning director, Brad Garfield is also a producer, writer and editor. Brad will be partnering with DNL OmniMedia on a host of non profit related projects.
He has also directed numerous projects for PBS/MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour including their Presidential Candidate Forums, The Chris Rock Show. CNBC, WNBC News, Fox News WCBS , WPIX, CSTV (College Sports TV). Citigroup, WABC, and CBS Sports.He is currently directing The National Discussion and Debate Series for The Newshour and The Miller Center of Public Affairs and The University of Virginia. Brad directed The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for CBS for four years and won two National Emmys for his work on the Olympics in Atlanta and Australia for NBC Sports. He joined the directing staff at PBS/WNET in New York working with such notables as Robert MacNeil, Bill Moyers, Fred Friendly, Paul Newman, Christopher Reeves, Paul Simon, Charlie Rose and Vaclav Havel. He just finished producing, directing, filming and editing a series of Profiles for Community Colleges, Bridges to Opportunity entitled, "Pathways to Opportunity" funded by The Ford Foundation.
